Cruise the islands on one of our smooth-riding cycles! We have bikes to fit everyone, from a child seat up to a large frame cruiser.
The Bike Depot was started in the 1980s as a way to provide bicycles to our guests at the Refuge Inn. It has since grown to be the “go-to” bicycle and beach rental outlet on the island. We have an excellent location at the entrance to the bike trails at Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge, but visitors and locals alike come to us because of our well-maintained fleet and excellent service.
We also provide all the extras you’ll need to enjoy the best of Assateague Island.
We carry a selection of biking essentials including water, sunscreen, hats and bug spray. Trail maps and biking advice are provided with each rental.

With 40+ years in the bike and beach rental business, we’ve figured out what works. We have a variety of umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards, and coolers available for rent.
